Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Tuesday received a phone call from US chief counterterrorism presidential adviser John Brennan. The call touched on the latest developments in Yemen's political settlement in light of the Gulf initiative, Saba News Agency reported. The two sides also discussed Yemen's donors conference in Riyadh and its priorities so as to support Yemen and relieve it from the difficult circumstances, in addition to Hadi's upcoming visit to the U.S., where the Friends of Yemen conference will take place in New York at the end of this month. Hadi and Brennan also reviewed international cooperation to combat cross-border and continental terrorism, in addition to al-Qaeda's terrorist actions in Yemen.
