"Future" bloc member Deputy Mohamad Hajjar said that the new electoral law should cement the citizen's freedom in choosing the MPs and provide fair representation as stated in the constitution. "Any law based on sectarian calculations would be catastrophic to the country," the MP told "Sharq" radio on Tuesday. Hajjar stressed that his bloc insisted on achieving consensus among the Lebanese, adding that this could be achieved by implementing Taef Accord. He said that Future bloc's hand would be always extended, calling on all concerned sides to find essential means to spare Lebanon a crisis. Hajjar assured that March 14 forces were cohesive and the meetings and consultations continue among all its factions. The MP stressed need to find joint vision for new electoral law that would provide best representation.
