Member of Parliament (MP) Marwan Hamadeh said in an interview to "Radio Orient" on Tuesday that the formation of a de facto cabinet is not necessarily of bad impact on the parties and political forces, saying that it is a fait accompli government that serves the people and the national interest as Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam called it when he described his government to come. The MP added that President Sleiman should now "take this initiative and reach an agreement with Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam during this week on a cabinet formation" which would be above any doubts as for narrow partisan or malicious affiliations or as for compatibility and efficiency of the members of the cabinet to be. Hamadeh pointed out that neither President Sleiman nor Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam can afford to bear the public criticism over any incompetent Minister in the new cabinet who might not meet the Lebanese ambitions and whom they look for as an exit to the current crises which the new cabinet could solve, leaving the subjects of Defense strategy and illegal arms to be discussed at a later stage. "As long as Hizballah is involved in Syria, discussing with them the arms issuHamadeh said that since Hizballah changed in 2000 from a resistance movement supported by the Lebanese people to a tool for the Syrian - Iranian persistence, things have gone out of control.
