Hamas condemns Israel over ''Karama-Dignity'' seizure

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has strongly condemned the seizing of the ''Karama-Dignity'' French ship attempting to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday by the Israeli navy. The operation is a violation of the international law and human rights, Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan said, describing it as a" war crime" and "Zionist piracy". He urged the International community to protect activists, who are in solidarity with the Palestinian people. For its part, France-based Platform Palestine group, one of the organizers of the protest boat, said the Israeli military takeover "clearly shows the military logic of Israeli politics, which only speaks the language of force." Israeli naval commandos on Tuesday took over a French ship attempting to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip.
