Hamas condemned on Monday an Israeli court verdict to imprison Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Speaker Aziz Dweik for one year.
In a press release, Hamas Spokesman Hossam Badran said that the international community has not reacted to this imprisonment, adding that this silence reflects international community's political hypocrisy.
He added that although this international silence and the Israeli crimes, the will of the Palestinians will never be broken.
The Israeli court's verdict had been postponed 13 times over the past year since Dweik was arrested from his house in the southern West Bank city of Hebron on June 16.
