Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Thursday that he has information that the recent visits of US officials to the Palestinian lands aims at eliminating the Palestinian cause. In a keynote speech during a festival organized by women's movement in Hamas, he billed the visits of US officials to the occupied Palestinian territories as "suspicious". "All these bids will be failed by the steadfastness of the Palestinian people," he added. The frequent visits of US president Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry to the Middle East came to reassure Israel amid the ongoing developments in the region, he noted. He called for adopting an Arab-Palestinian strategy to confront such suspicious bids. As for the issue of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, Haniyeh said "we will not Israeli crimes against the Palestinian prisoners. The Israeli occupation practiced his crimes against our prisoners in light of the international complicity and Arab silence."
