Hamdan bin Zayed welcomes existing partnership between RCA and ZU

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and President of Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Zayed University (ZU). The MoU aims to enhance partnership between the two sides in various charitable, humanitarian and societal domains. Sheikh Hamdan received at Al Nakheel Palace, Dr. Maytha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State and President of Zayed University and Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary- General of the UAE Red Crescent Authority after the signing of the MoU at the headquarters of the RCA. Sheikh Hamdan underscored the need of preparing awareness programmes for the Zayed University students on the importance of humanitarian work in addition to urging and training them to undertake voluntary work in supporting RCA's initiatives and activities. On her part, Dr. Al Shamsi affirmed the importance of the MoU, which shows the vision of integration and keenness on bolstering joint cooperation for the benefit of the U.A.E. community.
