Hamed bin Zayed attends the opening of Microcredit Summit

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, this morning attended the opening of Microcredit Summit.

The opening of the summit saw the participation of a group of dignitaries, officials of central banks in the Middle East and North Africa and a number of decision-makers and business leaders from around the world.

The Microcredit Summit is organised by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, the Arab Gulf Programme for Development, AGFUND, and the Microcredit Summit Campaign. The Microcredit Summit Campaign brings together microfinance practitioners, advocates, educational institutions, donor agencies, international financial institutions, non-governmental organizations and others involved with microfinance to promote best practices in the field, to stimulate the interchanging of knowledge and to work towards reaching its goals.
