The standing Military Court of the First Instance of El Kef decided, on Monday, to postpone hearings in the Thala and Kasserine martyrs cases to next December 12, in response to a request made by the defence. Chaired by judge Chokri Mejri, the court's session, which was held under tight security measures, gave way to the reading of the report of the Indictment Chamber on this case in which are involved 23 defendants, including ousted President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, former interior ministers Rafik Belhaj Kacem and Ahmed Friaa, former director of the presidential security Ali Seriati and several security officials under the former regime.
