Hezbollah rejects dropping resistance from Lebanon government statement

Hezbollah has reiterated rejection of ignoring the resistant movement in a ministerial statement of the Lebanese government.The resistance is a right which cannot be dropped in the ministerial statement, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad Fneish, who represents Hezbollah in the Cabinet, said.He added that all previous Lebanese governments confessed the right of the resistance which cannot be dropped in this government.Dropping the issue in the statement gives Israel a pretext that the resistance has no legitimacy, he said.Rival members of a ministerial committee charged with drafting a policy statement dug in their heels Thursday over whether the divisive issue of the resistance should be included in the document.
