
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban praised on Friday his country's deeply-rooted relations with Egypt in all fields.
During a press conference with visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Orban said Egypt plays a pivotal role in the Arab region.
"Egypt's security is crucial to the Arab region and Europe," he said. He further hailed as 'important and valuable' the current two-day visit by Sisi to Hungary.
Orban congratulated the Egyptian people on making their own way and wished them success in their bid to establish a democratic state and achieve an economic renaissance.
He noted that his talks with Sisi tackled ways of supporting the Egyptian economy, adding that the deals, which were signed today, will be a start for more agreements between the two states in the fields of railway, health and water.
"Hungary is a friendly state of Islam," Orban said, stressing that he does not have a problem to contact with political leaders with military backgrounds
