Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki received, on Thursday, a congratulatory message from Hungarian President Pal Schmitt. "The Hungarian people, moved by emotions stirred by memories of their own history," Mr. Schmitt writes in this message, followed "very closely the Tunisians' heroic fight for the sake of freedom, human rights and democracy, which further strengthened" the ties uniting the two countries and "the two peoples, bound by relations of friendship and traditional esteem." The Hungarian President voiced readiness "to strive to intensify and diversify co-operation between the two countries."
