Iftaa House's Observatory for Anomalous and Takfiri Fatwas has warned against the repercussions of a recent tape released by Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) threatening Mali and France if they did not apply the Islamic sharia (religious laws) in such countries.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Observatory said Muslims are much harmed by such threats which precede any terror attacks against foreign countries, noting that most reports on the Muslims living in foreign countries have recorded an increase in the violence and oppression against Muslims and a heightened wave of antagonism against Muslims after any terror incident.
It also said that such threats are just a cover up for the real objectives of such terrorist groups which seek to control western Africa after they lost control over Somali which is currently controlled by Daesh.
The Observatory also said threats to any country are a clear violation of the moderate Islamic values which did not force anybody to embrace the Islamic religion.
