Pakistan violated ceasefire on Tuesday evening even as it talked tough with India over the repeated ceasefire violations and the killing of two Indian soldiers last week, a high rank Indian Army official said. "Pakistan came to the flag meeting with a prepared script...He (the Pakistani brigadier) read out from a prepared text and denied everything. Even after the flag meeting, there were three ceasefire violations. They fired from small arms as well as mortars," said Lt-General K T Parnaik, Northern Army Command chief responsible for the Line of Control (LoC). The reports of the fresh firing came just hours after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh asked Pakistan to immediately take action against those responsible for the brutal killing of two Indian Army troops in recent clashes along the Kashmir border. Both India and Pakistan have denied provoking the clashes at the LoC last week, in which two Indian soldiers died. Two Pakistani soldiers were also killed in clashes in the disputed territory of Kashmir over which the two neighbors have fought at least two major wars in the last 65 years.
