Indian capital's airport put on alert after bomb call

Security at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital was beefed up Friday night after its call center in Gurgaon received a call from a person informing about the presence of a "bomb", said local media.
The Press Trust of India quoted sources at the airport as saying the caller, who used an Australian phone number, did not specify any location or airline.
"At around 5:35 p.m. the airport call center received a call saying that there is a bomb. The call had come from an Australian number," the report quoted sources as saying.
All security agencies concerned were pressed into service to search and detect the presence of any possible explosive material, said the report.
