Indian energy minister leaves for Tehran

A high-level delegation, headed by Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah left for Tehran Friday. Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Science and Information Technology, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi is accompanying the delegation to Tehran. The visit is aimed at promoting bilateral cooperation in the field of renewable energy, official sources told IRNA. The delegation will be meeting with the Iranian authorities to review issues of mutual interest particularly in the area of energy
