An Indian prisoner was Tuesday found dead in a jail in the Pakistani city of Karachi, local TV channels reported. Kishore Bhagwan, an Indian fisherman, was lodged in Landhi Jail in Karachi. His body has been sent for an autopsy, the reports said. Kishore was initially arrested by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency along with other fishermen for allegedly entering Pakistan's exclusive economic zone without legal documents. In December last year, he was re-arrested by Pakistani police after he escaped from jail when he was taken outside to do manual labor. Kishore's death came after an alleged Indian spy, Sarabjit Singh, a death row convict, was killed by his fellow inmates in a prison in Lahore in 2013. Three other Indian prisoners also died in Pakistani jails last year.
