Indonesian president meets Qatari deputy PM

Republic of Indonesia President Joko Widodo Wednesday met with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, on the side-lines of the Asian-African Summit currently on here.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs conveyed to the President greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and wishes to further boost relations between the State of Qatar and Republic of Indonesia.

President Widodo entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs with his greeting and best wishes to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar and further prosperity and progress for its people under HH the Emir's wise leadership.

During the meeting, they reviewed relations between Qatar and Indonesia and ways to develop them. They also discussed other topics on the conference's agenda.

Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia HE Mohammed bin Khater Ibrahim Al Khater and a number of Indonesian officials attended the meeting.
