Friday 18th January, Israeli occupation forces arrested at dawn, 12 Palestinians from Beit Fajjar village, south of Bethlehem and handed 6 Palestinians from Silet al-Thaher village notices to appear before the Israeli Intelligence Service at Salem military camp. Security source reported that a force from the Israeli army raided the village, broke into several houses, searched them and arrested Hassan Hisham Deriah, 17, Ahmed Majed Thawabteh, 27, Islam Mahmoud Thawabteh, 26, Ahmed Anwar Takatka, 25, Ahmed Salem Takatka, 24, Shakib Abed Takatka, 24, Ali Hussein Rashid, 19, Mahmoud Ali Thawabteh, 24, Mohammad Ahmad Thawabteh, 28, Ra'fat Ali Takatka, 29, Iyad Abd Takatka, 30, and Islam Nafeth Thawabteh, 27. Israeli forces also handed six Palestinians from Silet al-Thaher village, near Jenin, notices to meet with its Intelligence Service at Salem military camp. They also broke into several houses in the village, searched them and interrogated the residents.
