Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast called on Friday for immediate exit of foreign forces from Libya after Gaddafi's death, the official IRNA news agency reported. Referring to the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's death on Thursday, Mehmanparast said that after the recent developments in Libya, "there is no more excuse for the interference of foreign forces in Libya and it is necessary, by immediate exit of foreign troops from Libya, to permit the Libyans to decide on their own fate." He said that the Islamic Republic congratulates the Libyans and the National Transitional Council (NTC) on the great victory which has been achieved through resistance of the Libyan nation, said IRNA. There is still hope that, after Gaddafi's death and by opening new chapter in Libya's political life, the way is paved for rule of people and democracy in this country. Mehmanparast said that Iran is ready for transfer its experiences to Libya and participation in reconstruction of the country.
