Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparasthas strongly condemned a recent statement by the Arab League, supporting the inalienableright of the United Arab Emirates in its full sovereignty over three disputed islandsin the Gulf region, Iran's Press TV reported."The islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb are an inseparable partof the Islamic Republic of Iran," Mehmanparast said on Wednesday.On Tuesday, Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed Ben Helli read a statement,released at the 24th Arab League summit in the Qatari capital Doha, advocating theUAE's right in the three islands.
