Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Araqchi strongly condemned a series of recent deadly terrorist attacks in Iraq, Press TV reported on Wednesday. Expressing deep concern over the spread of terrorist activities in Iraq, Araqchi said that the terrorist acts are aimed at fuelling sectarian strife in the Muslim world. By such violence, terrorist groups are pursuing their " illegitimate political goals," he was quoted as saying. Araqchi called on all Muslim countries and nations to do their responsibilities in dealing with what he called the "plots" by the Muslims' enemies. Ten people were killed and 42 others wounded in separate bombings and shootings across Iraq Tuesday evening.
