Iran: Expert-level nuclear talks to start next week

Expert-level nuclear talks to discuss the details of a possible comprehensive agreement on Iran' s nuclear issue will be held next week, the senior Iranian nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday. "Expert-level negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group will be held next week on the sidelines of the IAEA Board of Governors meeting," Araqchi was quoted as saying by official IRNA news agency. Issues like uranium enrichment, removal of sanctions against Iran and international cooperation for peaceful nuclear activities will be on the agenda of the expert-level talks, he said. The topics will also be discussed in the later meetings of Iranian nuclear negotiators and the representatives of the P5+1 group, China, Britain, France, Russia, the United States plus Germany, Araqchi said without referring to the time and venue of the expert-level nuclear talks. After three days of intensive talks, EU's Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif announced on Thursday the timetable for the next round of Iranian nuclear talks. Speaking of the nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group in Vienna, Ashton said we had "three very productive days," and all the involved parties discussed "all of the issues we need to address in reaching a comprehensive final agreement."
