A senior advisor to Iran's supreme leader has said that the negotiations between Iran and the world major powers (P5+1) over Tehran's nuclear program will continue until they produce positive and constructive results, Tehran Times daily reported on Saturday. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Ali-Akbar Velayati said that the P5+1 should recognize Iran's right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, according to the report. Iran's deputy nuclear negotiator Ali Baqeri said that the recent nuclear talks with deputy head of the EU's foreign relations in the Turkish city of Istanbul were "positive," local media reported Thursday. Baqeri met Helga Schmid, deputy to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, on Tuesday for talks to pave the way for another round of high-level international talks on Iran's nuclear program.
