Iran's Islamic establishment has set a role model for the regional and the world nations who are in quest for a proper ruling system, and this has intimidated the enemies, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Monday."The divisive attempts made by the enemies of Islam and Iran mainly aim to prevent the Islamic Republic from being seen as a successful role model by nations," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a large number of people in the city of Paveh in the western Kermanshah province. The Leader further pointed out that the eager look of the regional nations at the Iranian people has paved a proper ground for Iran to leave a deeper influence on the Muslim world. He also described the enthusiasm of the regional nations to model on the Islamic Republic in Iran as a proper opportunity for the further influence on the Islamic world's public opinion. "The great and understanding people of Iran can be turned into a yardstick and a symbol of creditability," the Leader said, and added that if this happens, it would be "beneficial both to the Iranian and the regional nations, while it will, God willing, be effective in the formation of a single and united Islamic Ummah as well". His remarks alluded to Iran's eye-catching role and progress in different scientific, industrial and defense fields. The country's achievements have been noteworthy in various fields ranging from aerospace, biotechnology and nanotechnology to major improvements and success in the development and growth of house construction in rural and urban areas. Political observers believe that the United States is at loggerheads with Tehran mainly due to Iran's independence from the world powers and the home-grown nature of its progress in various fields because an independent country with such advancements can set a role model for the other third-world countries.
