Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi evaluated decision of EU's blacklisting Hezbollah's military wing as "contrary to political-judicial norms and inadmissible". In the statement on Iranian Foreign Ministry's official website, Salehi said, "Labeling a resistance movement which has a judicial existence in Lebanese government and struggles against assaults and occupations as a terrorist group reveals that this attempt does not have a logical reason." Stating EU foreign ministers thought to influence the incidents in the region with this decision, Salehi advocated that EU countries made such a decision as they failed to analyze the available issues in the region properly. Salehi also said, " Iran strictly condemns the decision of EU foreign ministers and these kinds of attempts will not bring out any alteration on Hezbollah's struggle for rights", adding Hezbollah was a resistance movement which was trusted and respected by all groups inIran.
