Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi left Tehran for Nicosia, Cyprus, to review avenues to bolster bilateral ties with senior officials of the country. During his one-day stay, Salehi will meet Cypriot President Dimitris Christofias and his counterpart. Salehi, heading an eco-political delegation, is planned to convey President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's message to his Cypriot counterpart, inviting him to attend the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit meeting to be held in Tehran, according to Iran's news agency (IRNA). Salehi will then proceed to Kazakhstan to participate in the 12th joint economic commission session of the two countries. In Kazakhstan, Salehi and Kazakh officials will discuss issues of mutual interest.
