Iran's security conditions better than Europe

Tehran Police Chief General Hossein Sajedinia stressed the good security conditions of Iran, and said the country enjoys a higher level of security than those in Europe and East Asia."As regards the types of police activities, we are ahead of many countries," Sajedinia said Wednesday. "And when we compare our security with the European and East Asian countries, we understand that we have a better situation than them," he continued. He underscored that Iran's good security conditions is indebted to the Iranian people's active cooperation and their obedience to the religious teachings and moral principles. In relevant remarks in 2009, Iran's Deputy Police Chief Ahmad Reza Radan had lauded the country's achievements in improving security at its borders, specially in blocking the entrance of smugglers into the country. "The security conditions at Iranian borders have improved considerably in recent years," Radan told FNA at the time. He stressed that the law enforcement police have prioritized two major missions for themselves, the first of which is improving the security in the southeastern and northwestern borders of the country. Iran has recently embarked on fortifying entanglements at its borders, specially in the southeast and northwestern country, in a bid to intensify campaign against goods smuggling and drug trafficking.
