The Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Al-Nujeifi, has left Baghdad on Monday to Gaza, heading a large parliamentary delegation. Media source in the Iraqi Council of Representatives told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Al-Nujeifi left Baghdad's airport with a delegation comprising of 30 MPs, representing various blocs. The Iraqi parliament announced last week its intention to form a delegation and head to Gaza to carry aid for stranded Palestinians there. The source said that the plane of the Iraqi delegation will arrive to Al-Arish airport and then to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing. The delegation will carry financial assistance and relief, according to MP Susan Al-Saad, who told reporters that the parliament agreed an allocation of two billion Iraqi Dinars (USD 1 = IQD 1,164) to help Palestinians in the Gaza Strip
