
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi will take part in the G7 summit, which will kick off in Berlin on Sunday and run for two days.
Abadi's visit to Berlin came in response to an official invitation from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to a statement by the media bureau of the Iraqi council of ministers.
The G7 summit will discuss a range of economic files and international crises, topped by combating terrorism, it added.
Abadi will also meet with the leaders of the G7 countries topped by US President Barack Obama to discuss ways of increasing aid to Iraq to confront Daesh terrorist group.
