Iraqi university teacher killed in Dahuk

Unknown gunmen shot dead a university professor in front of his house in the northern Iraqi governorate of Dahuk on Monday, a police officer said. The gunmen opened fire at Sakfan Jameel, who teaches humanities in Dahuk University, in front of his house causing serious wounds, Brigadier Tareq Ahmad, director of Dahuk Police, told KUNA. He said Jameel dies of his wounds at the hospital. Police are investigating the attack, added Ahmad. Dahuk is a security stable and calm city. This is the first shooting incident in years
