An Islamic Jihad spokesman said Saturday the group was using a truck-mounted missile launcher to fire projectiles toward Israeli targets, producing a video as evidence of the technology. Al-Quds Brigades spokesman Abu Ahmad said the group attached a logo on the truck "to prove we have a such a moveable launcher" despite Israeli claims to the contrary. He recalled that the last time the group posted a video of the launcher in October 2011, some people claimed it was fabricated and that the device in the video was in Libya. Asked whether his group has other weaponry that has not been used yet, Abu Ahmad said “it is natural to keep some strong and qualitative means to be used at the appropriate time and place. "We will leave to the days and our fighters to give a concrete answer to this question on the ground.” The video was removed from YouTube, but some Israeli news sites uploaded it. One of the websites, Israel's Ynet news, said a similar clip in October 2011 was dismissed as military officials as a fake. They claimed the footage was taken from the conflict in Libya, Ynet reported.
