
The Islamic Solidarity Games which took place in Palembang, Indonesia, from September 22 through October 1, wrapped up this evening. The two-hour closing ceremony was graced by the Governor of Palembang State Alhaj Alex Nooruddin in the attendance of Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation. In his speech, the state governor expressed happiness of the success of the tournament. Then the tournament's flag was lowered. Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz then handed it over to the Azerbaijani head delegation whose country is to host the 4th Islamic Solidarity Tournament in 2017.
