Israeli security forces arrested two Palestinian youths near the West Bank city of Nablus on Sunday evening after the authorities found the two carrying "six improvised explosive devices," the army said. Military sappers disarmed the bombs, an army spokeswoman said, adding that an investigation is ongoing and the suspects are being questioned. It was the second time in less than a day that Israeli forces seized explosives in the West Bank. Overnight Sunday, troops detained two Palestinians at a security checkpoint near the town of Tul Karm who were in possession of two explosive devices and a petrol bomb, the army said. The weapons were confiscated and the suspects were handed over to security forces for questioning, it said.
