Israeli occupation forces closed on Monday Karam Abu-Salem crossing, southeast of the Gaza Strip. The head of the Coordination Committee for the Entry of Goods, Ra'ed Fattouh, said Israel informed the committee about the closure of the crossing after rocket fire from Gaza into the Western Negev on Sunday. Ynet said three rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip. One exploded in open terrain in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council, the other two fell in the Palestinian territory. Karm Abu-Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing is currently the only portal to allow access of commodities to the Gaza Strip after Israel decided to indefinitely close Al Mentar (Karni) crossing, east of Gaza.
