Yediot Aharonot newspaper said in its website on Thursday that israel fears possible attacks on Israelis travelling abroad during the upcoming Jewish High Holidays , due to start marking the jewish new year after ten days. The Jewish community in Europe, to give an example to others that it is possible ... although there are fears that the court ruling may serve to increase animosity between the government and pro-democracy activists , said the paper. The paper further said that the israeli foreign ministry has called for tightening up security measures to the israeli tourists enjoying their holidays in each of Greece , Cyprus and Thailand which are seemed to be possible targets to the Israeli tourists. The paper quoted by Voice of Israel Radio said that Turkey and Azerbaijan are also among the target countries, in addition to some African countries including Nigeria and Kenya, where hundreds of Israelis are working there. Israel warned its citizens visiting the Sinai Peninsula from abductions unexpected against Israeli nationals and terrorist operations. Israel expects continuation of the wave that began targeting Israelis in Burgas in Bulgaria, especially as the holiday season timing is appropriate for such operations.
