Israeli occupation government decided to legalize four random outposts in the West Bank, which were supposed to be evacuated and demolished after they were built by settlers without government approval. Israeli Haaretz newspaper stated on Thursday that the Israeli public prosecutor informed the Supreme Court that it intends to legalize the outposts. The decision responded to a petition filed by “Peace Now movement” to the court in 2007, which urged that the outposts that had already been issued limiting injunctions, be evacuated. General Director of the movement Yariv Oppenheimer said that the attitude of the Israeli authorities is like a slap in face to efforts of US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is currently seeking to resume the political process between Israel and Palestinians.
