Israel to establish military academy in Jerusalem

Israel plans to establish a military academy on the Mount of Olives in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Israeli Peace Now Movement. Researcher in settlements affairs Ahmad Sub Laban said that Israel aims through this plan to tighten its grip on Jerusalem which it says is the eternal capital of Israel. The academy, which will be constructed on a 4 dunum area, will include a military college, offices for its commanders and a staff command that could accommodate 400 military students and 130 academics.
