The Israeli authorities Wednesday ordered two Palestinian families to evacuate their private-owned agricultural land in the village of Hussan, west of Bethlehem, as well as to remove the olive trees planted there and turn it back to the way it was, according to an official. Member of Hussan village council, Taha Hamamreh, told WAFA that the farmers found notices in their land ordering them to evacuate their land; the first one of his 30 dunums and the second of his two dunums. The notice also warned them of entering the land again and ordered them to bring back the land to its previous state. Israeli forces have been recently targeting the village of Hussan, including the taking over of hundreds of dunums of land, as well as the destruction of trees and the electricity networks.
