Israeli authorities on Wednesday opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, south east of the Gaza Strip, and allow limited goods. Palestinian Authority's liaison official Raed Fattouh said that Israeli officials today opened the Kerem Shalom crossing to enter 220 to 230 trucks loaded with goods and aids for commercial, agricultural and transportation sectors, including 20 modern vehicles as well as 5 trucks of cement, 50 trucks of gravel for UNRWA construction and two other trucks of electric cables for the authority of power. Limited quantities of domestic-use gas will also be shipped through the same terminal, Fattouh added.
