Israeli forced to hand over body of Egyptian smuggler

Egyptian authorities will receive on Monday the dead body of an Egyptian smuggler killed by Israeli security forces near Karm Abu Salem according to Maan Palestinian News agency. Israeli authorities informed their Egyptian counterparts about the incident on Sunday, a day after it occurred. Israeli authorities reportedly killed the Egyptian smuggler while he was attempting to enter Israel near Karm Abu Salem crossing on Saturday. The smuggler who was identified as a local from South Rafah was smuggling cigarettes to Israel. Israel had handed to Egypt authorities another body of young Egyptian killed by Israeli security forces when he was attempting to enter Israel six days ago.
