Israeli forces Thursday demolished farmers’ huts and wells in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to Security sources. They told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by heavy military machinery, raided the village and demolished a number of farmers’ huts and wells belonging to Palestinians. The army also raided the towns of Samu and Beit Awwa, south and southwest of Hebron, respectively, and handed Palestinian ex-prisoners, who were released in Gilad Shalit’s swap deal, a number of notices to report to Israeli intelligence. The army raided neighborhoods in the city of Hebron and surrounding towns such as Halhul, Dora, Taffuh and Beit Awwa, where it searched Palestinians’ cars and inspected their identification papers.
