Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday pushed deep into an area east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as the town of Jabalya in northern Gaza. Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces, backed with bulldozers and tanks, moved hundreds of meters into the two areas and razed farmlands. According to media sources, Israel claims there is a dispute over land ownership, adding that more than 3000 dunums were plowed last week in various parts of the Negev desert
