Israeli-occupation authorities reopened this morning the "Kerem Shalom" commercial crossway in southeast Gaza Strip to export 3 truckloads of strawberries and green spices also allowing the entry of 310 truckloads of goods and also allowing the pumping of limited quantities of Qatari solar fuel for the Gaza Electric Power Plant. The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted the chief of the committee in charge of entry of goods into Gaza Strip, Engineer Mr. Raed Fattouh, as saying that the Israeli-occupation authorities have reopened the crossing this morning and that it was expected that 310 truckls laden with cement, buildings' construction steel, aggregate and other goods to the commercial, agrarian and transportation sectors will be allowed into Gaza Strip. Engineer Mr Fattouh pointed out that limited quantities of cooking gas are to be pumped, without indicating the pumping of any quantities of fuel necessary for operating the Gaza Electric Power Plant. The "Kerem Shalom" is the sole commercial crossway through which goods and fuel could be allowed to enter open into the besieged Gaza Strip.
