Israeli occupation forces arrested at dawn today 11 Palestinian youngsters from Bait-Fujjar Village in Bethlehem province. Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed into Palestinian households in the village and arrested 11 youngsters aged between 18 and 24 years, including 7 from Taqatqeh family and 4 from Thawabteh family. Israeli occupation forces conduct search-and-arrest campaigns on daily basis in the West Bank on purported security pretexts. The number of Palestinians languishing in Israeli occupation prisons currently are an estimated 5,000 POWs including 10 women. Israeli occupation forces arrested 3,000 POWs in 2012 alone and also re-arrested 10 prisoners who had previously been freed as part of the Gilad Shalit exchange deal including Al-Isawi who has been on hunger strike over more than 185 days.
