Israeli occupation forces have intensified their presence dawn Tuesday in Al-Khalil (Hebron) south of the occupied West Bank. Palestinian security sources said that forces disseminated in Talat Abu Hadid and Al Aghoury triangle south Al Khalil, and they set a military barrier in Shallalla street in the Old Town. Israeli soldiers raided at dawn several parts of the city, among them Ein Sara and Namra where artillery moved around for hours. They intensively infiltrated the village of Al Dhaheria south Al-Khalil and built a military barrier at the entrance of Beit Ummar in the north. Occupation soldiers detained 20-year-old Palestinian Anwar Shaa'rawy from Al-Khalil while he was near Ofer prison in Ramallah and he has been taken to an unidentified location. Forces spread in Gabaa and intruded the houses of Palestinians holding jobs in education for civil interrogation which lasted for more than two hours. Sources indicated that occupation intelligence interrogated Wassim Abou Awn and Bassel Ghannam in Gabaa town between 2-4 am, but has not arrested them. Additionally, Israeli forces detained in the morning two youth from Boreen south Nablus north of the West Bank. Witnesses said that the occupation forces intruded into the town and raided its houses detaining two Palestinians, 17-year-old Ahmed al-Najjar and 16-year-old Ahmed Nasser Assous. They indicated that the occupation extensively searched the detainees' houses destroying furniture before withdrawing.
