A Palestinian-owned house in the town of Beit ummar, north of Hebron, was totally gutted in what is believed to be an arson caused by Jewish settlers from the settlement of Karmi Tsur, according to a local activist. The coordinator of the popular committee against settlements and the Apartheid Wall, Mohammad Awad, told WAFA that the house, belonging to Mohammad Arrar, who is currently abroad, caught fire at dawn, completely destroying it. He said the house is located adjacent to Karmi Tsur settlement, built illegally on Beit ummar's land, which leaves suspicions that settlers were behind the arson.
