Israeli forces imposed on Tuesday a curfew on Yatma village south of Nablus, locals said. Forces imposed the curfew via loudspeakers until further notice as Israeli settlers claimed that armed men fired at Israeli settlers near Rechelim settlement on Nablus-Ramallah road, onlookers said. The villagers added that a large force was on the central road and that they are erecting flying checkpoints in addition to searches of cars and combing the area near the settlement. Earlier, the Huwara and Zatara checkpoints in Nablus were closed, a Ma'an correspondent said. Near Tulkarem, meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles raided the city and its refugee camp earlier in the day, witnesses said, and clashes erupted between the troops and locals. Witnesses said five Israeli army vehicles moved into the eastern area of the city where clashes erupted. Palestinians threw rocks at the troops fired bullets and tear gas grenades in return. The vehicles were also seen in the Tulkarem refugee camp. No detentions or injuries were reported.
