Palestinian international referee, Ibrahim Ghroof, was assaulted late Saturday when Israelis threw rocks at his car, north of Hebron, according to local sources. The coordinator of the popular committee against settlements and the Apartheid Wall, Mohammad Awad, told WAFA that an Israeli vehicle with Israelis inside passed by Ghroof on Hebron-Jerusalem main road and threw rocks at his car, breaking a window and injuring Ghroof in his face, chest and abdomen. The Referee’s assistant Walid Shoebat said that Ghroof sustained moderate injuries when the rock shattered his window.
