Italian Deputy Defense Minister arrives in Lebanon

Italian Deputy Defense Minister Filippo Milone arrived on Wednesday in the Lebanese capital in an effort to support United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) working in the south. Italy participates in the UN mission with 1,205 soldiers and Italian Major General Paolo Serra is in command of UNIFIL. Meanwhile, US Central Command Air Force Commander David Goldfein also arrived in the Lebanese capital, after a trip to Cairo.
